He's still there. See its not that he did anything wrong, it was more likely the guy that allowed Hatred to get into Greenlight in the first place that got the dirty looks.
As was asked earlier in this thread, provide proof for claims like that.
and no flat chested =/= pedo bait, a character clearly meant to represent a minor however..
Maybe rather than instantly believe what this developer says because "but I like this kind of game", take a deep breath, clear your head, step back, take an unbiased view, and use your noggin.. the developers claims do not hold up to analysis..
tell you what though, if you actually believe the "rogue employee" fairytale:
https://www.valvesoftware.com/it/contact?contact-person=Gabe%20Newell
gaben@valvesoftware.com
Whether he likes the games or not if it was a "rogue employee" he would take action, because any employee acting in such a manner is harmful to the company.. heck he could hate the games, a person acting like that just to satisfy their personal tastes as a corporate liability and action would be taken
Okay ...
First: this poor guy was Doug Lombardi or at least backed by him. Lombardi is the VP of Marketing at Valve.
Second: Gabe Newell never said anything about this game. He apologized and simply said "it wasn't a good decision [...] [we are] creating tools for content creators and customers." Which is the same approach they had with those anime games - make it possible for people to tune them out.
Third: Americans (in)famously have a completely different approach to sexual content than to violent content thanks to their cultural upbringing.
And now the kicker:
IF there were rogue employees and it was so obviously AND everybody knew their names ... did it ever occured to you tinfoil hat wearing weirdos that so would Valve? And if they made decissions not in accordance with the company's philosophy they would revert them? Like they did with Hatred?
Side note:
Hatred was a painfully mediocre game and if it weren't for the controversy around it, it would have been forgotten already.
that was clear 3 threads ago..

No, that is no proof that there are rogue employees. Actual proof can be verified with sources.
I don't know why you felt the need to chop the quote up when it takes like 3 seconds to google it and find what you are trying to hide. Here are direct quotes without cutting the parts that don't fit your agenda
" It turns out that it wasn’t a good decision, and we’ll be putting Hatred back up. My apologies to you and your team. " - Gabe
"“Good luck with your game.” - Gabe
Looks to me like Gabe Newell (head of Valve and a game developer rather than business support staff) was in supportive and in favor of Hatred
Yeah will agree to that. American audiences have weird puritanist values very different to most of the world. Perhaps they should release anime games but just block sale in USA? They do similar for violent games in Germant. If a certain audience has an irrational pedo panic, just don't let them play the game. The rest of us can enjoy ourselves
Yep. Brings us back to the youtuber comment we discussed earlier. Perhaps we're getting old, seraph.
Again you're assuming. Gabe does not say that he is in favor of Hatred. All he said is that it wasn't a good decision. He does not state what the reason is that it isn't a good decision.
