lets say if a steam chat pops up or something and i want to take a screenshot of and im in a game when i take it it dosent take what i want to take it it takes what im playing and not the steam chat or anything else can i have some help with this or what i have to do

well how do i take a screenshot if im not in a game because i saw a video on how to do it and it said that to press f12 to take it then and it was about takeing a screenshot of your profile and it manage to take and he was not playing a game he was in a game but not playing

[Alt Gr] + [Print] will put the current monitor image into clipboard. Then open MS Paint (or another image processor) and insert it [Ctrl] + [V].

You could gyazo, its a free program that allows you to select want to you want to screenshot.

lets just say i want to take a screenshot of my profile and when i press f12 it takes a screenshot of my HUB on tf2 and not the profile so how can i take a screenshot of the profile
