ESET Smart Security Block
Hello this morning antivirus blocked some steam file i should worry about it? last time was same on my old account witch i guess was stolen and you cannot bring me back https://i.imgur.com/waj1bE3.jpg

The article suggest excluding the steamapps/common folder from scanning which is silly as that stops it scanning any game file allowing actual viruses to hide there.
I find excluding the steamapps/downloading folder is what you want to do, as that stops it falsely detecting phantom viruses in half-downloaded files while still being able to find things hiding in the final files.

Of course there's still the occasional false positive in the gamefiles, but I just deal with them on a case-by-case basis.
