Games to play while listening to Podcasts?
Do you have some recommendations for games to play while listening to podcasts?

Preferably more 3D action, if you may. (Just not isometric hack n' slash games, those never clicked with me)

I was counting on AC Origins, but without SLI support it runs terribly on my PC, so I had to refund it.

How do you play a game when listening to a Podacast.
The mind can focus only on one thing.
A game that doesnt require thinking?
hmm let me think.

Sure you can focus on more than one thing. I can't listen to two people talking at the same time, and solving a puzzle might be a bit more difficult this way, but games that are very tactile, they give me something to do with my hands while listening to the podcast occupies my mind. It's like someone's mother doing crochet in front of the TV.

Some games are good for it right out of the gate, like the Middle-Earth games or Destiny. Others it's better to get acquainted with first, but after you do they work great for this. I played Nioh, Bloodborne and the Dark Souls games multiple times while listening to podcasts.

lol good on you. Makes sense to me
The Forest played on Peaceful mode takes out all the cannabules and then allows you to simply explore build houses something to do with your hands
Normal mode is pretty easy too. Fun game i really enjoy it.
Maybe you can find a game in my games that you dont already own for ideas.

Call of Duty zombies would be good. I think World at War is <$10 and has lots of mods too.

Path of Exile. That's the game I usually play while catching up on some of my favorite podcasts.

Lately I've been listening to podcasts while playing Euro Truck Simulator 2. It's incredibly peacful to be driving a big truck towing some lumber across thousands of kilometers of rural Germany while listening to the radio, NPR, audiobooks, etc.

There is NO action at all, which is what makes it good for listening to things while playing.

Okay, the thing is that I do like action while listening to things.

Grind while you listen. H3H3 Podcast does wonders with this.

I listen to audiobooks all the time while gaming, usually Skyrim and Fallout 4 when just exploring. Also, non-fiction is better since it's not as critical if you miss a few seconds of narrative thread. Mary Roach's books are great for this.

Also listened to Gulag: A History while playing Rise of the Tomb Raider, which made for an interesting play. :steammocking:
