Steam confirming purchase but not withdrawing money from bank account
So past a few days, I've bought several games with the card i always use, but I realized today that my money in the bank account remained same with a few days ago. I looked further and even that Steam did complete the transaction, the money withdrawn is stated 0. I don't know where to write or post this, but I'll be happy if the problem is resolved, without my games being taken.

Steam will not confirm purchase if you dont have the cash in your wallet?
Only way to do it is add funds from credit card to your wallet
How are you using a credit card?
It will automatically choose your steam wallet and if you dont have sufficient money in steam wallet it will ask for debit/credit card info.
Check with your bank if your credit card has expired.

Maybe consider using PayPal very safe and instant purchases.

I have always used PayPal.

You can directly buy games with a debit or credit card, without adding anything to your Steam wallet and that's what I've been doing for a long time now, it's the first time I encounter this

Like, Steam confirms the purchase, makes a receipt and adds my game, but my bank account still has same amount of money as before I bought the game.

I had similar happen to me a couple years ago during the Winter Sale. I made $60 worth of purchases, and it took Valve a year and a half to put the charges through. It's a good thing I had it budgeted out in my checkbook for that long, cause I wouldn't have had any idea what was $60 that far afterwards.

But I hope I won't be banned or my games will be taken for this? Which is a pretty low chance (both of those) since it's not my fault, but still.

No, you won't get banned or have your games taken from you. Valve just needs their system to catch up. I suggest putting that money aside in your checking account/credit card until Valve processes the charge on the sale. I'm assuming it won't be a year and a half for you like it was for me.

this just happened to me and i gifted myself and friends around 60 bucks worth of games because it wasnt charging me will it eventually charge me or what and if it does can i just refund the games

It's completely normal that your bank account isn't charged immediately. It can take a few days depending on your payment processor.

Yup, sometimes it can take time, ESPECIALLY at weekends.

It largely depends on what the bank is doing and how their processes work. I had a bank years ago that if you bought anything on a weekend it wouldn't show any teransactions until the Monday following.

As long as you're aware of it, there's nothing to worry about.

If the payment was accepted at Valve's end and you got the games, that's all you need to care about.

An international transaction will never been drawn on a Sunday. It's not a bank day. In many countries they won't be drawn on Saturdays either.
