So the Humble Bundle has Rainbow Six Siege for 60% off meaning the complete edition is $47 and I can't buy R6 Credits.
So if I bought it from the humble bundle (game won't let me buy r6 credits and ubisoft support is useless) So I have starters edition on steam. I'm wondering if I bought it from the humble if it would give me all the operators? As you can't upgrade R6 on steam.

That is an Uplay key only. It is NOT a Steam key. It is like buying the game all over again for Uplay instead of Steam. I am unsure you can have multiple keys of the same game in an Uplay account.

Yeah, always check the redeem source for games you buy, might not always be Steam source.

You would need a Uplay account either way. Even the Steam version requires a Uplay account (and the client) to play.

But the Humble Bundle key is for use on Uplay only.

This is why you need to be careful buying Ubisoft games from third party sites.

Under DRM...if you don't see a Steam logo or it doesn't say Steamworks, it cannot be used with Steam.

The simple rule is , there are NO 3rd party site Steam keys for UBISOFT games.
ALL retail versions for UBISOFT games are UPLAY only.
The only way to get a Steam version is by buying the UBISOFT game directly on the Steam Store.

I don’t want a steam key. I already have the game on starters edition. I want to upgrade but steam doesn’t allow that so I wanted to get a key for Uplay but someone told me that I will need a new account. I want complete edition as it’s on a sale.
