Is half life 3 confirmed?
I just saw gaben announcer pack in youtube , does it mean half life 3 confirmed??

no, because of how much the fan base has hyped out Half Life 3 the game will likely never see the light of day, as it is impossible for it to live up to the hype..

think what happened with No Mans Sky, then multiply it fifty fold

No it failed because people couldn't tell the difference between hype and truth. People who bought it without buying into the hype found it to be a good game even at launch

HL3 Will never be done likely because there's really no where to go with the story that makes it better. Well Unless they decide to tackle the question of what happened to Gordon's wife and kid.

of course it won't.. gamers have hyped it up more than the Christian church has hyped the second coming of christ..


at this point it is impossible for the product to live up to the hype the community has built up for it, so any attempt would only be poorly recieved..

Bingo. Nothing they put out would live up to the expectations.

The truth is, That Half-Life itself as a series has become ridiculously overhyped. People talk about the first game like it was some revolutionary milestone when it really wasn't There were far more revolutionary games at the times. It wasn't even the first FPS to do away with the 'levels' screen. The storytelling is pretty much the standard fare again and barely there to begin with. I mean when you compare it against its stable mates its not that ground breaking.

The only thing that really sets it apart is the organic flow of levels in manages for most of the game, and even there the same could be said of Unreal which came out the same year.

saying that people are hyped are more than people that are hyped to wait for noble person to come is disrespectful . we're more hyped than gamers don't take it as jock please
