Steam usually offers the latest version anyway. So no need to get patches from other sources.

Well where does it say the version?

Try asking in the game forum.

How about delete the game, reinstall it, don't apply any patches, just start it up, and look around the main menu, or the about section in game, might tell you in game.

On Steam? Nowhere. As I said, you alway get the latest version, so there is no need for it.

In the game you should be able to see it in the main menu somewhere.

I took a screenshot for you, all I did was install the game, and press the key binds to bring up the console, the game version is 1.0.1.0

Not sure, I haven't spent time on this game, and I only pop a quick guide on here to add wide screen support, since no one made a guide, other than the one person that wants you to download files, but the link has been removed.

You didn't, and I was replying to you 1st part, then I was only was informing you afterwards if you may be interested if using widescreen, and may be wanting to use widescreen, if not, you can disregard it.
