Hacked with 2-step verification.
My accounts are being targeted, 2 Uplay accounts and Steam. I enabled 2-step verification on Uplay, however, I already had it on Steam. I thought it was virtually impossible to hack an account with 2-step verification?

When you give away your account info or have key loggers, 2-step is rendered useless.

Nope, it's not. MITM attacks are still possible.

However, on Steam you most likely got phished and entered your credentials into a fake login screen.

This is a bad assumption. 2FA is an additional security layer involving two independent aspects but if these become compromised; the concept is worthless. Tailored malware will render 2FA useless that is bound to the same device.

I'd scan your PC as a priority.

Two-factor authentication is just another layer of security.

If you give them your Steam Guard code / mobile authenticator code, you're a sitting duck.

It's not 'impossible', FYI.

Give them all the relevant information and they'll hijack the account while your hubris is still there.
