Ubisoft has gone a lot better by following this naming scheme lately. So the times where you absolutely needed a guide to chose which freaking edition to buy is ... over?
I have added it to my wish list and wait till it comes on special. Then I'd buy the Gold Edition

Preferably buy the main game and then add the DLC you want.
In the Library highlight AC version you have and then on the right>view more DLC available for this game.
Whatever is included with your version will show as blue greyed out and already in your library.
Personally the season pass is a time saver and kills the game play.
most of these bonuses are gained by playing the game. doing side quests and exploring.
Ubisoft Store uses the games currency and these can buy all those extras.
You earn this currency by getting XP and achievements look in Uplay Club rewards
They carry on to other AC games like Origins. That is a brilliant game.
