2 steam keys, one game, 2 computers, 1 account
Is it possible to install and use a game on 2 separate computers when we buy 2 steam keys of the same game on the same account?

No, I mean, same account, 2 different computers. I use my own account on 2 separate computers.

1. Why would you use 2 keys for the same game on 1 account? That will not work.

2. You would have to go offline with your account on one of those PCs.

3. Why do you want to do this anyways? Explain.

No.
if you activate a key for the same game on the same account you wont get a second copy registered on it.
The only way is either to created a second Steam Account to register the key on it.........or not trying to play the game at the same time on one account.

I use my account on a seconde computer for my child. He does not have any email account or another steam account.

Make another account and use the key there. Also enable Family View for him on it.

While it might seem like a waste to buy games multiple times on different accounts for family members, it will probably pay off in the long run. Besides, use sales.

On day, more than one family member might want to play a video game at the same time. At this stage, the "one account for all" falls apart.

In the short run, your friends won't be able to know whether it's you playing, or someone else. If you use your account, and everyone else uses their account, that's solved as well.

Same applies to save files (on games that have Steam cloud), achievements etc. No mixups.

I have a second account for my son (8/yo), where all my unused keys end up.

It is best to have two, incase he decides to cheat or such latter on. That way it won't effect your account as well.

That pretty much answers my questions. And good point as for the player name for who is playing or online and achievements and for cheats. Thank you for your time answering my question! Very appreciated!
