TF2 SOUND ECHO

So my tf2 sound has been weird lately. It sounds like I'm in a hallway at all times. I've tried to verify all game files, i have no mods or anything, but nothing seems to work for me.

Anyone know what to do?

Does it sound like an echo you could get used to, or is it actually really bad? Cause imo TF2's dsp sounds bad and I have the reverb sounds turned off by either setting audio quality to low or dsp_slow_cpu 1 in console.
