Where has "Invite to Game" gone

OK, some "bright spark" at Steam has decided to remove the above function... WHY!!!!!

Have you checked the broadcasting Privacy settings?

Jaunitta... it isn't in the Broadcast setting, it was in the drop drown menu when you click on your friend.

Still not sure of the cause but people have been reporting it for months. Completely random and not for a lot of peole.

Depends on the game, if the game support invite by doing it friend list by opening overlay, then just right click on friend and you'll see the option. If the game not displaying that, then may be an in-game thing where you need to click in game to invite, then it will open your overlay and friend list with a button on the side for invite.

Example like Sid v can't just invite you have to click the button in game which call for the API to give you the option to invite.

I'm guessing it had something to do with the Remote Play Together feature.

I don't think you guys quite understand what I am getting at, I, and others, lost this feature after a recent Steam update , nothing to do with the game we play, "Insurgency 2014," as this game has not been "update" for some time now..... it is purely a Steam issue.

Dr.Shadowds... no, Insurgency does not have that feature, but as I have said, it was in the Steam Friends drop down previously.... now it has gone, as far as I can tell, it has nothing to do with the game, Steam simply sends a message to your friends, inviting them to join... it was there only a few weeks ago, the game hasn't changed... no updates for years... it only stop this feature with a recent Steam client update... PLEASE guys, stop concentrating on the game, it is Steam that has changed.... it now has a stupid "Invite to Lobby" whatever that is... Steam makes changes, without notifying what those changes do.. absolutely pathetic, there needs to be a competitor.

I just tested it with KCD and I see Invite to Lobby. Its not a MP or co op game though.
If a friend is in game I can see View game.
Could it be related to whats going on with Youtube?

Jaunita, you just proved what I am saying... "Invite to Lobby" is new, they removed "Invite to Game."

I launch Insurgency, on start up soon I got into the game main menu, I see right away the party system, click on it, and was given option to click invite, and friend list pops up to invite.
