How Do I Stop These Hentai Recommendations.

Steam. I have never knowingly bought a hentai game, I do not want to buy one, so why on earth are you putting them in my recommendations all the time?


Anyway, how do I stop them people? I tried putting Hentai as an exclusion but it didn't work.

I mean almost every recommendation is Hentai.

The problem is that none of these games have a Hentai tag so I don't seem to be able to stop them.

I mean I am baffled as to why Steam is even making the recommendations but I want it to stop.

I don't want to stop anime, since I play games like Tera which probably fall in to that category. What I want to stop is the Hentai rubbish.

Ah OK "MATURE" seems to do it. Although personally I would not call them "mature", rather "immature rubbish", but there you go.

Yes, they should add a "Hentai" tag. Because not all of anime games are hentai.

At the same time most of my games are hentai/ecchi and it recommend me some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FPS games that I never play. While I want more hentai :(

A better question is: why did you enable sexual content in the first place if you don't want to get such recommendations? Or is it only animated sexual contents which you don't want?

Because when I disable sexual content I can no longer directly access the Catgirl Lover store page, just as it should be. And considering that these settings are off by default...

on the feutured and recommended page. hover your mouse over the game showing and you will see a double down pointed arrow, click on that and click on preferences. scroll down and add tags to exclude you don't want to see anymore

in your case you want to block "anime" tag

My guess, new algorithm that choose things u "may like", cz, the best part, "it" "thinks so".
They r proud of it though, as much as I know. Don't forget to congrat them)

Another one though, is that u can't "turn it off" any way, just like no one can revert to old library, if they wish to. So much for "quality service".

I think u can block certain devs with all their games, maybe that will do it.

steam labs recommendation is a broken mess as it recommends games and publishers you already banned, disregards game genres you banned as well.
I complained about the same thing on recommendations forum.

Doesn't work half the time.

I have Visual Novel, VR, and anime "supposedly" blocked, but can you guess what over half my que is everyday????
