Difference between Wallet code and Gift Card

Hello!
I have a question.

What is the difference between wallet code and a gift card.............

I know that redeeming a wallet code adds money to your steam wallet,but how does a gift card work? Does redeeming a gift card also add money to your wallet?

For instance,i'm looking to buy a 25$ steam gift card,
So after redeeming the code,will 25$ be added to my steam wallet?

You get codes from the back of the gift card. There is no other way to get a code. People selling "codes" on the internet purchased a gift card and are selling the code from the back of it.

Though there are stores that print a code onto a receipt, these are still considered "gift cards".

all the wallet is where your cash you have is put like a piggy bank.it just holds the cash till you spend it................

Gift card refers to the physical object, a wallet code is the characters you need to input to redeem the money on steam.
