WTF Happened to Corgi?
Okay, so I get it; Corgi was in an immense lead at the beginning of this sale. And it was unfair to the other racers. But now, because I chose Corgi, I'm being punished by having the team completely LOSE with no chance of survival or chance to swap teams? Is this what it's going to be like for the rest of the sale? Just Corgi getting ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over because Corgi was in the lead for two days? Cool.

Yep, this is how valve operates. People plan and cooperate to get a blow-out victory? Grats, you will be handicapped to ensure that all of the wins will be fair and balanced(tm) regardless of effort. I'm almost wondering if all those attacks on team Corgi are actually from people and not valve just administratively dumping several thousand attacks on them as it seems to jump by several thousands. In addition, Corgi boosts seem to do almost nothing, and they can't get any attacks anymore. This is perfectly fair and totally rewards participation!

As confirmed by valves latest news update, they put no hand in slowing down any racers. If anything it's everyone else from other teams slowing us down.

As quoted by them "We want to assure you that we are not manually intervening in the outcome of a given day's race. Each team's progress is fueled by its active number of players and the points and boosts they contribute."

Considering that they admitted that they "tweaked some rules" to make sure Corgi doesn't sweep, I very much doubt they're not rigging it on purpose.

In ways it's kinda hard to tell at this point. It's best to just wait it out honestly. As i am apart of team corgi i could honestly care less if we win or not.

I just kinda want those $7.50 discounts, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they take forever. Only scored one.

I've been counting how many attacks I've gotten, which is currently a single attack from twelve boosts. That's far less than the others which seem to get one for every 2 boosts.

Well just know that you aren't alone in that. There's been many people getting the same ordeal in the matter of all this complicated mess. Like i said it's a hit or miss really and it's just best to wait things out.

This is probably one of the "tweaks" they made to make the game "more fair".

Niiiiceeee keep up the good work Valve !
There is no way in hell that Corgi is supposed to be in last place, Pig Team is in first right now and in the previous 3 races no one even knows there was a Pig Team.... This sh1t is rigged man f* this

Remember when valve knew how to make games? Haha, those days are long since gone.

I find it hard to believe Valve didn't do anything. Their two statements contradict each other.

1. "We’ve made some back-end changes to help mitigate some of the snowball effects we’ve seen that have led to Team Corgi running away with the first two days of the races despite their tiny legs.

We’ve changed some code to help deal with the imbalanced team sizes across the board."

2. Latest statement: "The first few days of the Grand Prix have been dynamic and dramatic, to the point that some of you have started to wonder what's going on under the hood. We want to assure you that we are not manually intervening in the outcome of a given day's race. Each team's progress is fueled by its active number of players and the points and boosts they contribute."

So they did not do anything? REALLY?

They zoomed in. The distance difference between Corgi and first place isn't as big as it looks. It's pretty much the same as yesterday about the same time.

All the other teams have attacked Corgi early. That's it. It's like the boxer that comes out wanting to end a fight in round one when the fight is going to go on multiple rounds.

Even Corgi getting attacked by all hater factions, it still has the most speed boost, more than all other 4 combined. This is just bullshite.

“1-in-4 chance” is not “1-in-4, guaranteed.”

It's kind of funny, I got a great sense of relief as I emptied my cart. Just saved myself quite a bit of cash. I was getting suckered in to buying several items from my wishlist that I could take or leave, but now I have no problem leaving them. It's pointless trying to add points to a rigged game.
