I need help In Darksiders 2

In Darksiders 2 how do I get to the boss called the noss is it a side quest or not cause im really confused and how do I even get to it or start the quest or side quest??? Really struggling here

If i'm right, i defeated it yesterday. It appeared in the Earth part of the game right? So, it's easy to defeated from beginning of this sequence Uriel (on of the angels) gave you the powerful weapon you need to carry till the end of Earth sequence (but the weapon can be found somewheres like houses, alleys etc.) If you try to fight him with that weapon you can easily kill him. He will get massive damage from that weapon projectiles.
