Steam gift to an account fraudulent activity alert
i have a friend that his account has that thing "fraudulent activity alert". And he can't buy any game so i wanna gift him a game.

So my question is;

If i send him gift, can he accept it or it will be stuck or smtng like that ?

i would avoid sending your friend a gift till they get the alert resolved

Have your friend contact support using the link within the account alert itself.

Tell him to reverse the chargeback on the flagged purchase while he waits for a response.

Until the conflict is solved the account will be unable to purchase, trade, receive gifts and redeem keys.

Oh, and because most people only see "nine weeks": that's the time frame you have to resolve the problem. Failure to do so will result in the restrictions being permanent. As in "forever".

Do you know this 'friend' personally, or is this just someone pretending to be your 'friend on steam'?

Never trade with compromised accounts. You do not know who's on the other end.

His priority should be resolving the account lock rather than playing games right now.

Lets be clear if he has an account lock restricting purchase it also restricts him from redeeming gifts as well.

An account lock prevents anything except playing existing games.

Why nor resolve the issue on the current account?

Please make sure that your "close friend" isn't doing any cheating on games, nor trading off-steam for things that involve, say, putting Steam credentials and login information on sketchy collection sites that are THE REASON his account's been compromised.

Also be sure that your friend's account is NOT connected in any way to yours with a phone auth number.

Suspended accounts cannot accept gifts

Get better “friends”

Your friend need to resolve his own issue first, before you can gift to him.

Him making new account isn't going to solve his issue. If your friend ignore the issue, if related to doing charge back, then after 90 days his account will be restricted forever period, if he doesn't pay back the money that was due.
