Possible bug: Emoticons "missing" from inventory, but also not missing

I just noticed that two emoticons I've had in my inventory from the Steam Summer Getaway event - "B1" () and "D" () - appear to be missing from my inventory - other emoticons from recently crafted badges still appear in the list, but not those two. They don't appear to have been traded/sold in my recent trade or market history, and I'm fairly certain I wouldn't have recycled both of them into gems.

And yet, the two emoticons are still "present" on my account - they appeared when I clicked the emoticon button under this text box, and (if they're visible in the previous paragraph) they seem to still be usable in forum posts. They just don't show up in my inventory at all.

There doesn't seem to be any way to open support tickets for website UI bugs, so I'm posting this in case anyone else notices the same issue, and/or in case a Valve employee notices this and passes it on to whoever's in charge of that part of the Steam website code. It's probably a small bug, but it might be an "edge case" that should be sorted out before it reveals a bigger issue.

...huh. So it's not something broken with my account, but something that got broken recently with those emoticons, then.

Does anyone have any of the other Steam Summer Getaway emoticons (e.g. steamwings, plane, postcardb, etc.), who can check if the same invisible-inventory problem is happening to the other emoticons from that series?

I cant be sure, but i think it is happening with all the sales items...

Only event item i seem to have is the gems (Look at the fillters)

Also all the event profile backgrounds are missing from my inventory as well as emoticons and summer sale cards.
But I can select them from the edit profile menu? I suspect valve are tinkering with things getting ready for the winter sale and its a bug.

I'm in the same boat, as well as others. Pretty positive it's just a bug, probably from prepping for the incoming winter sale. Should be fixed with next Steam update in the coming weeks.

They've reappeared in my inventory now. Looks like the entire "Summer Getaway 2013" category of cards/emoticons/backgrounds was being hidden in the inventory due to some transient issue - but either someone alerted the devs, or they coincidentally fixed it just now.

ØG and Nick probably have the right idea - it was close to this date last year that the 2015 Holiday Sale "Mysterious" cards started to appear...
