Are there any ACTUALLY GOOD multiplayer zombie survival games?

Are there any good ones that actually give you a sense of survival and makes you fear the zombies? Project Zomboid comes to mind, any others?

The zombies in this game are a genuine thread. No " i run up to a group of zombies and wack them in the head". Its more about avoiding them , at least in the beginning.

Later you may be more offensive but the zombies get stronger too and every 7 days a horde will spawn that will attack your base. ( thats the 7 days in the title) The horde gets stronger every 7 days as long as you survive so you need to take that time between to build up your base, loot the region and prepare for the assault. Can get really tense at later days when hundreds of zombies attack your base.

Miscreated is pretty much dead game,its good but it lacks many survival elements.Mutants are not threat they are scarce,no stamina,food everywhere,guns are easy to find.TBH its just another pvp game with ,,survival,, elements

Not really. Hopefully Survive the Nights ends up being good.

7 days to die is a decent game. Great for a CooP with 2 people, gaming couple or small group.

Waiting on Survive the nights myself too as i pre ordered.

Also dead matter looks quite decent, another step towards the open world zombie survival game we are all waiting for i think.

Its one of those things, we all want to live our own walking dead episodes in a open world zombie survival game.
Sadly developers are not quite there yet, as well as..... well.... people play games and are as mindless as the zombies we face.

I think the day i can clear out zombies, lock and barricade myself in a shopping mall on a huge open world map, with the news helicopter on the roof i and our small group arrived in.
Using items from the stores to survive and arm our selves to the teeth with, only to find we are surrounded by an ever growing crowd of zombies with bandits on their way, coming in trucks and other vehicles to raid the mall we are in.

That is the day i will say that the zombie survival game i have been waiting for has arrived.

Every time you leave a safe zone you have to survive.... If he was looking for a specific type then he should be more detailed in what he wants in the OP.

Other than that Dying Light fits in to what he's looking for as it's not a full multiplayer game but has co-op and does a lot better than those so called multiplayer games like DayZ, H1Z1 and ect.
