Second, the whole last section is a bit "fake". All that deleting your save does is adding your name to the list of ship names/help offer that can appear in another users game.
Thats it. There are also a LOT of bot users included. I watched multiple LPs of the game and a lot of names appear again and again in that last sequence.
Would not work otherwise, since most players "use up" like 10 or so other players "saves" they would never be able to sustain a supply of character saves. They would run out in a day or so since each completed Ending E only adds one new "save".
So its not 100% real but its more about the emotion and the message of the moment anyway.
Sacrificed my save without a second thought.
