Grand Theft Auto V or Fallout 4?

I love open world games to death. I love quests and missions. I love making upgrades and purchases. I love customizing and experimenting. All that yummy stuff.
Soon I will have a new computer that can run much more intense stuff, and I've decided I want to get either Grand Theft Auto V or Fallout 4, considereing they have all the listed elements. This discussion is especially for those who have purchased or played both games, I need some honest opinions. I realize much of this decision is based upon preference, but I would really appreciate if you mentioned specific aspects that you loved about your favorite of the two. And then ehw cahn gew undahhh blahhh blahhhhh blahhhhhhhh.

Do you prefer multiplayer or single player?

Witcher 3. No kidding. Far better story than Fallout 4 and less pointless fetch missions. I didn't finish it despite having it since release day as I got bored and never bothered to play again. GTAV is fine SP experience, but most fun would be online with friends after story ends.

All three are excellent. For me it'd go GTA, witcher 3, Fallout 4

Making sure that it meets the requirements from the store page is still recommended, even if you think it is going to be good enough.

Those games are somewhat hardware intensive, so I suggest you check the system requirements first always before you buy. Thanks.

I vote Fallout 4 hands down, if your PC is going to meet the specs for it.

It's like Market Bot said, depends on if you're more interested in building a settlement or multiplayer. Also whether you like post apocalyptic Boston or modern Los Angeles better. Really just comes down to personal preference.

I've got more hours into FO4, but I think I liked the story in GTA a bit better. Gameplay-wise, FO4 is a bit more open ended and gives you more options (especially the base building, because I am all about the base building). Also you can have sexytime in either game, because apparently devs think that should always be a thing.

If you go with FO4, be sure you bring lots of Mutfruit when you're hanging out with MacCready ;)

Based on your criteria, Fallout 4 without a doubt. GTA 5 is fun and eventually I'd say get them both but for sandbox gaming, Fallout wins.
