They will never be able to afford to but at least we would actually be able to play EA games here then...

When was that? According to Wikipedia Valve was already 2,5 billion worth in 2012. And they grown a lot since then.

I think it will not change much, at least not in the start, but over time it may effect how Valve works rhat may end to be a killer

Ah ok, according to the article EA tried to buy Valve for years before 2012 but it never progressed to anywhere since Gabe Newell was so against it.
"Despite the billion dollar offer, Newell said Valve would prefer to "disintegrate" than ever sell out."

Good for him. By now Valve is most likely more worth then EA. Maybe Valve will buy THEM in a few years. :P

EA tried to buy valve once for 1 billion but was denied. You can google search that to find out more. Valve doesn't sellout

I think Valve prefer to stay small
also EA is huge, i am not sure Valve will really be able to buy them

I think you are holding EA up on some sort of pedestal. I'm pretty sure Valve make more money on the tens of thousands of games sold on their platform ontop of the millions/billions of cards/market transactions.

Batylefiled an EA game that they take all its profit is one of the top selling shoters
Same with Fifa, Maden
They also are the biggest publisher at these days

So i think as much as Valve is making a great amount, EA is likely same if not higher in profit

EA would be making a shot tonne more money if they just manned up and accepted that they are beneath Valve and started selling their games here.

I will not be so sure
on Origin they sale with 100% profit on all DLC and games
On Steam they likely lose around 30% per a sale, and need to also spread support for it and intergate it

Right now there are users buying from origin just as you cant buy from Steam
all of them will have been 30% off profit if sold on Steam

So they would still be getting 70% more money than they get currently. Either way I don't care anyway I despise EA and their bull. last time I bought an EA game was like almost 10 years ago.

Pigs would be flying, hell would be freezing over, and countless people would have to fulfill promises they really, really don't want to do.
