How to stop all these Early access game spam?
How do I stop all these Early access games showing up in my queues and Special Offers. There is a option in preferences "To show Early Access" and I have unclicked that, but I keep getting this junk showing up.

Any ideas??

you will only see less of them by unticking that box. it wont get rid of them all.

they will always be in the special offers section. there is no way around that.

I am nearly positive that there is an option to turn off Early Access in your filters. its one of the few settings in fact

Those options on the preferences page really only affect things you see on the front page of the store, and in front page features like the "queue".

The moment you try to search through the store in an organised fashion by, for example, clicking on a tag or a genre, you're stuck with looking at all those things you're not interested in seeing.

There is a way to filter out user tags, but not in the Steam client, you need to go to the steam store using your regular browser and mess around with urls as described in this guide:

BUT this method still can't do anything about Early Access.

to be honest anyone who is doing that needs to stop.

They need to find some youtube channels or some other form of curation

So they give you the option to turn them off in Special offers, but ignore it. What contempt they must have for users of their service. :(
I'm certainly starting to build up some contempt for their users. some of the most entitled brats I've ever had the displeasure of noticing.

I know right. How dare they expect options to "Customise" their experience actually to be honoured by the Company giving them the option.

Almost as bad a self-entitled fanboys who feel the need to denigrate other users to make themselves feel important. :P

Be the very definition of the word entitled, yes.

en·ti·tled
inˈtīdld,enˈtīdld/
adjective
believing oneself to be inherently deserving of privileges or special treatment.

You can filter early access titles here.....

https://store.steampowered.com/account/preferences

Your Steam login in the top right, then "preferences".

Steam is so full of junk now I don't eve look at the upcoming or search a game, you have to spend hours going through poor EA or indie titles.

You are so correct.

Having to wade through all the early access junk use to bother me, but now there is so much junk that is not EAG that it is all moot.

No matter what you do, you have to wade through an ocean of junk games to find one gem.

With regards to the OP's question, you can set the viewing options to see less of EAG, but you will never get rid of them all.

SOLVED AND EXPLAINED STEP BY STEP.

1) OPEN STEAM.
2) CLICK YOUR ACCOUNT NAME ON THE TOP RIGHT CORNER.
3) SELECT 'STORE PREFERENCES' IN THE DROP DOWN BOX.
4) GOTO 'STORE CONTENT PREFERENCES' > 'PRODUCT TYPES' > THEN UN-TICK THE BOX NEXT TO 'SHOW EARLY ACCESS TITLES'.
5) SCROLL DOWN TO 'TAGS TO EXCLUDE'.
6) IN THE SELECTION BOX START TYPING 'EARLY ACCESS'. CLICK ON THE 'EARLY ACCESS' POP UP BOX. SELECTIONS WILL BE AUTO-SAVED WHEN LEAVING THIS PAGE.
7) NOW GO TO THE STORE TO SEE IF EARLY ACCESS TITLES HAVE BEEN EXCLUDED. (IF IN DOUBT LOG OUT OF STEAM THEN RESTART IT. ALSO CHECK YOUR PREFERENCES HAVE BEEN AUTO-SAVED).
