Can I cheat in Matches?

Hi. I'm early in. I've seen the cave in the desert at start, and have been partly through the first... idk, "Other world". I got past the glowing light in the Sky, and am now in a cave system, with no matches, and where I ended it, I died due to falling into a pit? That I can't see. I respawn, move forwards a bit... Pit.
If there are any matches on the ground in this place, it's too dark for me to see them. Would raising the gamma help? I tend to keep it pretty high on games like this anyway.
I even currently have a workshop mod that is supposed to extend the time on matches and other timers. If That's the extended time, I'm lucky I got this far.

Also, due to darkness, I've gone into Fear twice already before this. Can that skip story parts? or am I safe on that front at least?

I tried this. Activating the trainer works, but then pressing for 1 match does nothing, and pressing for Max matches crashes the game.

One other option I have is to restart with a different workshop mod, that disables the fear, and apperently makes it so the monsters don't hurt you. Though that would mean starting over, the thought appeals to me the more I think of it.

to
int lMaxInventoryContentLevel = 50;
should allow you to pick up some more matches.

I forgot to close this. I did use the workshop mod, and it works for the most part. Though I'll keep that command in mind.

Tasi is supposed to be able to "see" reasonably well when in total darkness through night vision, it's just not a good idea to stay there because the Fear gets worse (the crinkling sound). If you can't see, it may be a brightness / gamma issue.

I too got low on matches in that initial segment, but that was the only time.
