No log in from steam option?

I know this is probably beating a dead horse, but I can see people have been able to log into SK using their steam account. As for me, it's still not working (there's no option to use Steam to login)

Anyone care to explain how they were able to get this button to show up?

Thanks for the help. I apologize however because I should have mentioned that I originally started playing SK on Steam (roughly a year ago if I recall correctly.)

I also started playing on this computer (macbook pro 13") so I'm a little confused as to why all of a sudden I can't play SK anymore.

I assumed everything was fine, so when I went to see if I can start playing again, this error occurred (maybe something to do with the patch?) I should also mention that within the game, I'm not able to access the steam community via shift+tab. I have tried restarting steam (must do this every time because SK crashes when quitting), validating the files, as well as re-installing.

It just seems like it doesn't want to work for me :(

Hey Shinigami,

I tried using your recommendation, however it is still not letting me play.
When I go to input the ID and the password, SK freezes and tells me the error is due to a "libfroth.jnilib" error.

Do you have any idea would could be causing this? Maybe something didn't download correctly?

Thank your for your help Shinigami, really appreciate it regardless of the outcome.

I'll follow up with both Steam and the people at SK support to see if this problem can be fixed.

How do i find my steam ID? I have had the same problem

Also it might help to rightclick on the game in your libary -> option -> local data -> and let steam check if all your game-data are correct - and if a re-install doenst fix the problem you can contact the support, telling them you really tried everything :S

there's an easier way:

1. go to steam => settings => interface and enable "Display Steam URL adress bar when available" (the "Steam" button can be found in the upper left corner of the steam window)
2. go to your profile and copy the URL which should look like this: "http://steamcommunity.com/id/<YourID>"
3. copy <YourID> and add "steam:" in front of it (the result should look like this
"steam:<YourID>")

This might not work if you have customized your profile URL (I suspect it doesn't), I haven't tried it though.

P. S. If you haven't customized your profile URL, <YourID> should consist out of digits only (17 digits as far as I know)

I have a similar problem. But in my case, I get sent to my original SK account instead of my steam account. Any Ideas why???
