Warm Fire Crystals problem
So I'm about to finish 6-2 missions, and I've found that I'm still getting loads of Warm Fire Crystals. Moreover, I've just got recipe to craft them!
Just to clarify: if Hall of Heroes mission to be believed, player is supposed to move from 3* to 4* gear by that point, and WFC are only good for heating up 2* gear!
The question is, what do I do with them? They are bound, and their value is not even close to covering unbinding fee. Crafting 3* gear does not required leveled 2* precursor either.

It would be somewhat useful if it was possible to craft Fire Crystals into ones of higher star tiers.

Save them?

The reason you can't craft UP is because people could bypass tier 2 entirely...

You can always sell them at the auction... House... Oh wait, you can't. I think you just keep them. You can't even sell them to vendors, trust me I tried.

Well, yeah, since there is no use for them I end up saving them. But every time I pick up one on elite I think that there could be something actually useful in it's place.

It could be adjusted by playing with required levels, I think. Make 3* require 3+ level precursors, and make 4* require 7+ level ones, for example.

How exactly the need to heat up your 2* items lets someone skip it? If anything, you can skip it now, since you can craft 3* items using lvl 1 2* precursor.

3* weapons are still tier 2 man

Ah, so you mean skipping straight to 4* gear?
But how would one get ceritification to equip those without having proper gear to do rank missions?

I think they should have made it a requirement to get level 10 on each weapon tier before you can upgrade it in the forge. I have hundreds upon hundreds of warm and glowing fire crystals. This would also balance out the progression a bit. You can get to Defender Elite pretty quickly (I did so myself in under a week) but then it takes quite a bit of time to get a full set of *5 gear (Took me a month.) I noticed a lot of people who still barely know how to play the game or understand game mechanics and managed to be running around in 4* gear with the Defender Elite title. Slowing it down would also make dead-end equipment lines (Stopping at tier 3 or 4) a little more relevant.

i think there's a slightly better chnce of getting a variant ability when you heat something to level ten befor upgrading it, but that's just my experience

Hope so, or it's a waste going to 10 all the time

Well, I do try to go to lvl 10, mostly because of forge boxes =)

Pretty sure this isn't true.
