Thinking of playing,So whats the game's endgame like?
I've been searching for a new game for such a long time (so many hrs spent :/) I tried this game a long time ago with a friend and I've heard this been a hell of a lot changes (Mostly bad reviews from my friends who have played.) So I'm wondering if I do complete the game if there is anything to do at that point from my perspective it dosen't look like such a nice and fun experience. So leave your feedbacks below any information is helpful.

What endgame?

Seriously though from my experience after you get all the missions done, you spend most of your time collecting accessories just for looks and a few weapons or armour sets to cover types, which could take a few minutes if you pay or a few months if you play. Then there's nothing. You wait and wait for a patch with some new content and it never comes, you're told there's going to be one patch which will introduce some new reskins of old weapons (not even new playable content which the game needs badly) and even that gets delayed a few months, but sure enough in that time there's plenty of new premium energy packs available sold as 'starter packs' but with items which are only 1* with no possible progression from there on. They added in a module to your viewable character info to show your achievements, but shortly after rendered apparently 7 of them unobtainable. They added in a new forge system and then promptly broke that (I mean it's not even feasible to level a 5* weapon by playing anymore, just paying - and a lot). Honestly I have a lot of playtime on this game but if I knew it was going to be like it is now when I started I would've stopped there. The main reason I play now is to earn crowns, to trade for Steam cards. The game feels like a sinking ship in it's current state, now is not a good time to start. If they ever decide to put some effort into the game again, I think you'll know.

Sorry about all the edits, kept thinking of new things that disgust me about the game in it's current form

The game is good and very challenging, but you need some patience for good drops if don't play on hardest levels or if you play alone.

I have played some hard and pay for win games, SK is fine but can be better.

End game sucks! Even the highest class weapons give little benifit and don't feel special to have once you have them.

Spiral Knights can be good but your genna be grinding hard and thats even if you wallet warrior the heck out of the game.

Endgame mostly sucks in that game, but even with all missions beaten it's godamn very playable.

This guys post was made in rage, heres a short and non bias ed summary of endgame.
Once you get five star everything you beat alll missions, people typically host guilds are grind on hard missions like vanaduke or the daily danger mission thats put out everyday! People try to get as many star 5's as they can so they are fit for any situatuation and there is also minigames like lockdown (basically control point game with fighting team vs team) and a game similar to bomberman. The games a blast once you get into it, although it has some flaws, like leveling/crafting items from star 4 to star 5 is a hassle, but to be fair its the last tier so it should be hard!

That wasn't rage, that's how I've felt for a few months...

Whenever I check PVP there's nobody even playing, 0 players in both. It's completely dead. Vanaduke isn't a hard mission, I've done it so many times on elite, solo, without dying, I've lost count, and I'm not trying to brag either, anyone who's careful, and has a blitz and appropriate armour can do the same. There is the daily danger/prestige missions but once you get to 45k prestige you lose all remaining will to do them (and ofc it is repititious as hell, as is much of the game). The game really needs new playable content, preferably something that can randomize to keep it fresh until the next update months/years down the line, but before you suggest clockworks, those levels are too easy at 5*. I think now would be a good time to introduce another tier.
