Game won't launch: The application “Steam” does not have permission to open “(null).”

The game used to work last year, but now it doesn't.
I'm on Mac OS 15.3.2 - Chip M1.

I'm having the same problem, I'm not seeing the `projectx.log` the only files in this directory are.
Spiral Knights.app & run.sh

Same issue, and no logs.

I was able to right click and "Show Package Contents", then goto the "MacOS" folder, then fun the game from there.

Still can't play.
Now I'm on MacOS 15.5.
When I try to run the game from inside the package, this shows up in Terminal:
