By the way, using up all your sparks is like letting your car run out of gas on the freeway. Why do people not realize this? Why do people not plan ahead? Why do they INSIST on using a spark of life every single time they die?
It's better than using Energy Crystals & more effiecent.
I don't know what "energy crystals" are. But my point still stands. People gotta know when to wait for the elevator.
Same here. But if nothing will change in updates, or events, yes, you can feel as immortal if you are not wasting them for stupid things. Though, SoLs don't drop this often now.
True skill makes me immortal without sparks, lel. (Not counting op events that are designed to be SoL sink)
I only use sparks if:
1. It's a rank mission that I'm sick to death of attempting
2. It's a shadow lair
3. There's a ton of prize boxes and/or confirmed orbs/sols immediately ahead (on the same depth)
I think I've spent one sol in the past 20 times I had the option (i.e. died twice on one floor)
For that matter, I think I've died "for good" like twice in the past week of playing.

And then tell me how I should feel... and how a friend how mine who has 493 should feel.
Fun fact: I feel kinda noobish showing this with less than 200, I used to lurk in the 210 before tortodrone update and left the game afterward... :\

(yes, non-bought, as they're all bound)
I've been Vanguard since before the forge update. So how the hell do you have NINE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED shining fire crystals when I only have 2000?
Either that picture is shopped, or you're sharing the account with other people in order to play 12+ hours a day every day.
EDIT: also that obscene number of radiant fire crystals is heavily suspect as well, considering the average tier 3 run only gives you 30 or so.
The radiants are left over from before they changed the drop rate of them, I had about 6k. But I do a lot of SLs, too.
Seems legit.
Bought SoL are unbound to you, learn to SK
Edit: It's also the reason why I have unbound glowing fire, because I needed them back then before they upped the rate in RT... and found a lot...
Plus side note: A lot of people are way better at SK than you can think. The goal of my guildmates atm are clearing SL FSC solo no spark... I know more than 10 who can do it. (not counting me since I never tried one)
We're aware of that. That was not the problem.
It doesn't matter HOW good you are, you can't find 10 sparks of life in one day. Nor 500 radiants. I played when they were common too, and I didnt even get 1000 total.
TONS OF SPARKS
