Why did SEGA let this game die?

You'd think a game like this with microtransactions would have had a bit more of a meta to it... kill the boss and that's it? No fun extras? No additional bosses added later? It's been the Snar, The Twins, Jelly, etc. forever. It's nice to see more weapons since the last time I've played (nearly two years) but really?

They'd make way more money if they did small updates with additional floors, bosses, etc...

Well, when I first played, You used CE for everything. If you wanted to play the game, you were going to have to spend money.

I wouldn't say I'm bashing the game, I'm just so confused how SEGA would think its a great idea to release this game... and then entirely forget about it. I wonder how long the servers will continue to stay up for...

The game is slowly dying. Sure, SK gets new players because it's free and easy to pick up but more and more of the old player base is fading away. I can see why.

I personally still play SK from time to time but there are better games that are easier to pick up (either better F2P system or just great games with one time purchase) and that's why it's resulting a lot of the older players to quit.

Also, cosmetics. Way too much of them. New DLC's or Missions would be really awesome.

Sega is focusing on Phantasy Star Online 2 (PSO2)

A JMMORPG, Spiral Knights was just a little project and the main developped left 2 years ago to make some silly game

And the lead artist is milking the player w/ reskin.

If you are interested in PSO2 you can find PSO2 Tweaker and play in english, even though it's 3rd party and "illegal" they don't care if you play it. It's probably the best MMORPG out there if you ask me (and I'm far from being a MMORPG player)

people were saying that this game is dead for 2 years because this game was dead for 2 years and it still is.. most MMOs under 500 players get their servers shutdown shortly after.... this game is held together by tape and papermashe.

EDIT: Oh yeah and the servers are empty accept for 1,2 & 3 sometimes.

This game Isn't Dieing It's Pretty Much Dead.. And Thay don't plan on makeing it Better.. Thay will just Keep sucking Money Out of people in till Thay Leave.
