PS/ Cold Iron Vanquisher is beautifull sword but common Leviathan Blade is better i think. First one deal more damage to undead but less damage to all other enemies. (Also damage bonus have cap = +6 so with maximum damage bonus Leviathan Blade is more powerfull than Cold Iron Vanquisher because it have better base damage.)
No you don't. There's plenty of other Shadow and elemental weapons that aren't overused. And there's also weapons that aren't swords.
but if you want something good, pick a sword that doesnt deal pure normal damage.

check for yourself, levi has more damage than CIV.
you can also buy orbs from the supply depot, you dont have to directly farm them.
fine then. go prove it.
ok so wich armor would you suggest? I dont want to waste glowing crystals on a bad armor again
so what you want is something that has fire resistance and either elemental or shadow defense. you should also pick something with offensive bonuses.
as long as you meet those criteria, pretty much anything is fine.
oh and before someone else says it, yes, chaos is an option too, but it is generally not a good idea for new players, as they cant handle it yet.
I mean you can believe the Earth is flat too, no one is stopping you. Doesn't make it true though.
CIV does less normal damage than Leviathan blade. It's why I crafted one and also why OOO gave a Leviathan reskin rather than a CIV for guild hall update, because Levi was terribly loved and used in the early days of SK. Even without the missions, people would normally go for a calibur. It has a nice swing delay/animation and it a right spot with the link-ish sword charge.
Family bonus doesn't stack past normal bonus. There's 6 Tier of UV: Low, Medium, High, Very High, Ultra and Max. Getting to Max (6) is the goal for everything (damage, ASI, CTR). Family bonus doesn't scale past that Max (6) threshold.
Having CIV limits yourself overall because you may want to use family bonus instead of normal bonus that are far superior. This is why people play with Swiftstrike buckler. It gives ASI High (3) to ALL weapons. Even Bombs. It counterweight it's weakness (3* shield with no resist whatsoever)
