ok
Better answer: NO. Unless you're rich like the entire community here.
Edit: It cost like 50$ to go from 4* to 5* instantly.

Don't think you'll ever be considered OP, there will always be something able to beat you, cheesy or not.

Yes but it's more about knowing what to craft and having ppl to help you farm on higher end level that you cannot access otherwise.

You can get 5* within a week rather easily once you know what to do. It's more of a grind test than anything anyway. There's a huge skill ceiling so even if you buy 5* items you will still get rekt.

It's like in Dark Souls. You can have the most OP item in the world, if you can't land a hit then it won't be of any use.

But couldn't you technically buy something like Overcharged Mixmaster and spam through most of the stuff in the game?

Yes you could, but... Heard that Mixmaster costs like 100k energy, so...

It's just better to get the 5* items from the shop instead of a single thing. Who needs Mixmasters anyway.

I had one and it's one of the worst gun I owned. It's unconsistant in it's bullet pattern and hitbox (seriously, if you can land all those charged shot, it does hurt. But it's like throwing a dice)

It does elemental damage, has unconsistant pattern and what does this gun have that a polaris or a blaster or AP doesn't have? Nothing. It's a vanity item.

You can't buy being good. You can have an overcharged mixmaster in SL FSC and still get rekt while I have a proto sword and does better.

The master make the weapons great. The weapon doesn't make the master great.

Edit: There is no needs to have a bursty elemental gun in this game. No boss is needed on it (RT has dmg threshold that 1 DA charge unmodified eats up), I guess it could be useful for HoI boss... but getting 100k ce for an advantage over a prestige mission boss is wayyyy overpriced lol.

Also I prefer the orbit gun.

Edit2: Also if you have a good connection you will be better. Played with 4 bars for so long that when I hit 2-3 I just couldn't play like I normally do (weaving in and out of 10-20 zombols on D25 on FSC is a great exemple)
