Should I just buy radiant fire crystals?
I'm not finding enough when grinding. Should I just buy them with crowns?

no.
buying radiants is extremely monetarily inefficient. buying with money from grinding means you get about a tenth of the rads you get from grinding rads directly. spending IRL money means you need to spend over 15 dollars worth of energy to heat a single item.

3 radient crystals through multile grinds and so buying them will give me 0.3 radients? ok then makes sence.

your best bet at getting all the rads you need is DaN and SL FSC. still slow, but bearable.

This is the only wall in SK and you should only heat 5* armor to lvl 5 and only upgrade a 4* weapons if you have 500 radiant laying around. A 4* lvl 10 items does as much dmg as 5* lvl 7 item. So unless you max it out, you better keep your 4*.

Knowing this, it's less of a burden to farm. You should just farm for cr and see radiant as side quest. I know it sounds dumb. The fact of the matter is: If you want to farm radiant the fastest without putting $$$ in SK > SL FSC. You get 80-120 radiant per run but it's an hour and half, 2 hours to run and kinda hard for newcomer. Your best bet is FSC even if it sometimes doesn't yield any radiant, you get cr while farming FSC, you don't in DaN (you only get drop from boxes)

You get 15 rads on avrg per FSC, you farm 2 vana daily and in a month you can make 2 items radiant. That's just a 2h session per day. It's easy to put in a routine, farm 1 in the morning, 1 before going to bed. You'll have thousands before even knowing it.

Edit: Specially when you are in school, it's easy to just wake up 30 mins early and do one or do one during your break. When exams came I was so stressed by this and didn't look at my radiant for a month, had 1.5k after my exams were done cause I played SK to relieve stress so it was "play time" not "farm time"

If you're skilled/confident enough to do them, the daily Danger Missions are a decent way to get some Radiants. I've seen anything from an unlucky 3 radiants to a fantastic 21-24 in the final prize room. It'll be a long slog if that's all you're doing, but they're a good supplemental source at least.

(Just don't do Heart of Ice. Screw that one.)

Danger missions are really subpar for grinding Rads.

Best places to get rads:

Shadow Lairs (thought that might be an issue if you do not already have 5* gear)
Dreams and Nightmares - This gives more rads on average than Vana runs, takes few test runs to get a hang of the pace you need for the last level
Vana runs - tons of crowns, quite a lot of rads
Any T3 arcade run with Arena in 24+; deeper the arena is the better
Any T3 run
