you only need five people.
I recommend making alts. get two computers, make five new steam accounts, add them all as friends.
now, for the first three, use the computer you havent made your original account on. log into steam there, use the other computer to invite them to play one by one.
because of the SK account limit per computer, you cant use any more there. you get three accounts per computer, one is your original account and the other five are the one you want to invite.
your original computer still has two account creations left, so switch computers. now log onto the "used" computer with your original account (dont worry, once created, account limit no longer applies) and invite the last two accounts to play from the other computer.
you should now get your steam knight mask. congratulations.

no.
unless they changed it, you have to reach haven with each account. that shouldnt take you more than a few minutes though.

but whatever you do, make sure not to start SK on the new accounts until you have invited them to play. I dont know how far you can go before it no longer counts, but being safe is better.

It's not cheating, it's not even against ToS AFAIK.
as long as you personally control the alts (so no bots) and dont use them to bypass a ban on your main account or do anything that would also breach the ToS on your main account, there is no issue.

It doesn't matter if it's against the TOS or not, adding yourself is stil cheating. Just like alt dragging

no it isnt. you cant just spout "x is cheating" without giving some good evidence for it.
we on the other hand have evidence for it NOT being cheating, specifically that it does not break the ToS.

Well, cheating is defined as:
  1. act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage.
    • gain an advantage over or deprive of something by using unfair or deceitful methods; defraud.
  2. avoid (something undesirable) by luck or skill.

In some ways, it is cheating.

One way or another, the Steam forums is cancer, you are better of having discussions somewhere else
