I recommend making alts. get two computers, make five new steam accounts, add them all as friends.
now, for the first three, use the computer you havent made your original account on. log into steam there, use the other computer to invite them to play one by one.
because of the SK account limit per computer, you cant use any more there. you get three accounts per computer, one is your original account and the other five are the one you want to invite.
your original computer still has two account creations left, so switch computers. now log onto the "used" computer with your original account (dont worry, once created, account limit no longer applies) and invite the last two accounts to play from the other computer.
you should now get your steam knight mask. congratulations.
unless they changed it, you have to reach haven with each account. that shouldnt take you more than a few minutes though.
It's not cheating, it's not even against ToS AFAIK.
Steam Knight MaskPlayers can get the Steam Knight Mask costume by inviting people to play Spiral Knights on Steam via the popup in-game. The popup appears when you enter the Clockworks from the Arcade and start at Depth 0. For each friend you invite that plays and reaches the Rescue Camp, you will receive a free Spark of Life for each. When the fifth friend reaches the Rescue Camp, you will receive a Steam Knight Mask.If you are missing the Invite Steam Friends popups, see the instructions below.[wiki.spiralknights.com]
The "instruction below" are simply how to reactive the popup and doesn't offer anything else.
no it isnt. you cant just spout "x is cheating" without giving some good evidence for it.
we on the other hand have evidence for it NOT being cheating, specifically that it does not break the ToS.
Well, cheating is defined as:
In some ways, it is cheating.
One way or another, the Steam forums is cancer, you are better of having discussions somewhere else
