Fix for spiralknights not launching

1. Make sure Java is updated
2. go to your steam library, right click spiral knights
3.go to properties/local files
4. click verify integrity of game files
5. PROFIT

I hope this helps everyone, this game is so buggy for people on how it starts. When i first did this method it said 34 ♥♥♥♥ING FILES WERE CORRUPT. So it reinstalled them, and now it works. Good luck everyone.



So Sebastian here thinks he also has a fix, well i have one that works EVERYTIME. Say goodbye to the steam achievements and the TF2 hat, and download it from their website.

SK uses its own java, this does nothing, at least on windows. I heard it is different on mac, but I dont care about it.

this is normal. steam has an outdated SK version, so verifying downgrades to this. the next time you launch, the launcher will reupdate, replacing those files with the correct ones again.

yes you did because thats kind of a big deal when most people dont use it.
and no, your fix doesnt work every time. in fact it wont work most of the time because, as I said, most people use windows where it does absolutely nothing.

on windows 11 spiral knights open a window that closed automatically in seconds and cant start the game. HELP
