Crashing...all...the...time

The game plays for a while, then locks up entirely. I have to reboot my whole computer or else CTRL ALT DLT'ing just makes the game boot to a black screen next time

Yeah, same for me. Many crashes and need use CTRL ALT DLT to boot game after another crash.

game crashes out all the time same to me and the guy that says better pc i think hes like 12 or something i have a 1080 card so yeah that might be one problem but then need to fix that problem

I have a RTX 2080 ti, i9 9900k, 6 crashes in 4 hours, unaplayable

Lower your overclock, GPU and CPU. Memory Clock and Core clock. This solved all crashing issues for me. Haven't crashed in 18+ games.

Same. And it is clearly the game. So many people have talked about this. doesn't happen on any other game. This game is broken right now

Just like in the beta.. crank up the settings at anything higher than 1080peasant.. all the time....

Nvidia has a hotfix for 1000 series cards that fixes crashes see here: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/game-ready-drivers/13/396210/announcing-geforce-hotfix-driver-45222-released-94/

I have a fairly good pc (gtx 1080, i7) and I don't overclock anything, I don't really know how to. I haven't really had this problem before, just this game

Same for me. No lag or anything (High settings on a 2070 Super + R5 3600), but constant crashes, mostly whenever I begin a new section of the game. I'm on the verge of refunding it because it's getting annoying having to restart the game or even sometimes my entire PC

I turned the overlay off in the game properties. Seems to have done the trick.

tried both, no luck on my end, still crashed twice
