I can only suggest practice with easy content, HARM maybe. This game is all about the dodge & parry.
also what squiddy said. enemy long range users are annoying. try to kill them first.
I really hope that they adjust enemy long range weapons. its annoying when you avoid a rocket and it 180 turns just to hit you in the arse. thats just bad game design.
offtopic: fix the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crashes! REEEE.
If you're playing alone, the enemy AI focuses on you. So you enter a room and you are immediately targeted by drones, snipers, adaptoids, troopers, riot bots and synthoids.
Also some of them fire at you before you are in the actual room. Many a time I entered a room and before I even took off I had a rocket in my face. They need to relax the damn targeting.
When you're playing with people the enemy AI is more balanced, but when you're playing alone it's unfair as hell.
And since multiplayer is not an option, what with matchmaking not working and getting dropped or crashing while you're playing with friends, playing alone is pretty much all you have.
Why did they change make it this way? Are they trying to discourage people playing alone?
If that's the case, they should have made sure the MP part was working and shouldn't have put the best loot behind singleplayer missions.
but missiles all the way imao, those things are insanely op.
- iron man is squishy but his specialty is flying and range attacks. His standing heavy attacks are ranged, for example
- iron man in flight mode = fighter jet. Just fly by and shoot enemies
- always air-to-air first, once you get rid of the annoyance, air-to-ground is easy
- dont be afraid to fly away if you are in trouble on the ground.
- use his Q to push enemies back (so you can fly away)
- hulkbuster is your panic button and your get-out-of-jail-free card. Play more cautiously if hulkbuster is not ready to go. Don't waste it randomly either.
- as a flying hero, you can really fly anywhere in this game. for example, you can hang out near the ceiling area. There are plenty 'safe spots' in maps once you are looking for them.
Interesting how these things land differently for different people. I think Iron Man feels really great to play, I really enjoy him. I wish he would have a unique ability to perform takedowns at a greatly extended range to play more to his strengths, but I have a pretty good groove with him. I swap between rockets (splash damage and knockdowns are so hardy, delays their ranged attacks), and the lazers to shoot down incoming anus seeking plasma rounds.
