As far as making money, it's supposed to be kind of tight and force you to make important decisions... for the first half of the game at least. You can freely sell the reward tickets proving you got a bonus objective and any other 'treasure' items like porcelain as soon as you get them - I held onto them thinking they might have some other use but they are just for extra cash. You can probably part with lower tier weapons you aren't using too - most units join your army with at least enough of their own that you won't need a spare bottom tier musket. If you're really desperate for cash early, you might want to focus on the Royalist faction as far as giving responses, as higher tiers of reputation with them increase your mission finish cash bonus iirc, although that's going to put you a little behind on unlocking new tiers of weapons and equipment to spend that money on. Finally, you will eventually unlock repeatable optional missions that you can use to grind, although they're pretty boring and you don't make a lot of cash from them, but you can use them in a pinch to push a unit that's close to a crucial level over the edge or get the extra 100 bucks you need for a weapon you want.
I sell those at the palace. Queen always buy them...and fruits.
oh Sorry I mistaken the reports with the commend.
What do you mean, please? I don't even see the reports I have been earning. Where do I see them in the inventory?
And, how can I sell them, please? I don't know what you mean by "the reports with the commend." What does that mean?
They were confusing the "Standard Report" and "Advanced Report" with the "Commendation".
The Standard and Advanced Reports will be used to unlock skills once you have sufficient reputation with the Feullants to unlock the Ecole Militaire.
Commendations are awarded for completing the extra Challenge that some levels come with; those can be sold in any of the shops in Paris for 500 each.
How do we get more reputation with the Feuillants so I can unlock the Ecole Militaire and be able to get skills, please? I am on chapter 5, and have done a couple side missions, and I never see anything that tells me, "do this mission to get more reputation with xxx faction" or something like that.
How do we know what we need to do to get more reputation with the various factions? I guess this comes later in the game, because I still don't have any way to buy more skills.
It comes later, don't fret. Just keep chugging through the missions and try to accomplish as many of the challenges as possible. By Chapter 10 you got the Feuillants and lots of skills to pick from.
