Help for main quest 'Strange Woods'

I don't know what to do after I inspect the strange rock, I tried to keep going forward but am blocked by a cliff and can't jump onto it. Am I just dumb?

It doesn't let me pick up the stone or anything, it just says "This stone seems odd".

In the main menu under ''load'' there should be saves for each chapter (act) and sub chapter. What chapter are you in?

This forest is quite the maze. You have to move through the ''whirly'' things to find your way. If you are at a cliff you cant jump up, you'll have to go back and take a different path.

Did you get Cen yet? If not, this is where you want to go:

If you do have Cen, you need to get back up to where you jumped from and use the stone at the crackling whirly thingy.

Yeah, its done that way on purpose. There is even an achievement for taking all the right paths the first time.

This ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ almost made me drop the game. That forest was so unbearably unfun and tedious for me; i literally almost had a stroke because of this.

I imagine it is easier in original chinese and if you understand the lore well since the solution is based on that.
