Good question, as you know, it's why we have hope in this game to fill the Virtual Surf Void! Fingers crossed...I'm a believer they will get it good and right!

Check out True Surf on Android or iOS. Mentioned this in a previous post..WSL licensed game.

Last good surf game was Transworld. KSPS was super fun, but the barrel minigame killed it for me slowly.

Yeah the whole point of the barrel is that view, but the mini game forced you to look at the dumb meter....
