Lossless Scaling

Lossless Scaling

What's a good setting for Elden Ring?
My setup:

1660Ti
Ryzen 5 1600
16 gb Ram
B350 TOMAHAWK ARCTIC

And a 75hz gsync monitor

I'd love a guide in how to setup it for Elden Ring specifically, can you help me?

Funny, since the 6 GB update today, Lossless Scaling isn't working for Elden Ring anymore.

PS:
The update changed Elden Ring settings,
Borderless Window to Fullscreen and the resolution was way off.
After reverting these settings, it worked again.

Best settings for Elden Ring? I can post mine...
Scaling mode: Automatic and Aspect Ratio
No scaling mode.

Frame Generation: LSFG 2.1
Mode X2
Performance Off
Vsync On
Max Refreshrate
API DXGI

Set max FPS in Nvidia to 30 fps.

It's basically the same for every game, there's really not much you need to do, you cap your framerate to 37 (half your monitor refresh rate), set framegen to x2, and enjoy Elden Ring at 74fps. Just make sure that you select the right graphics quality settings for your card, so that it has enough spare GPU power to handle the frame generation.

30 is only the base framerate in his example, with x2 framegen you would get 60fps.

It works, you don't need to wait :)

Set max FPS in Nvidia to 30 fps.
When you say max fps in nvidia to 30 fps you mean from NVIDIA Control Panel

Yes. I personally use Afterburner/RTSS instead of NVCP, but that doesn't really matter, as long as the framecap works correctly.

Don't set it to 30 though for your first try, use 37, you have 75hz monitor, not 60.

major ghosting using lossless scaling framegen 2.1 around the characters head when turning rapidly.

looks bad, so much shimmering and ghosting, rather just play at 60fps.

What's the difference playing at 37 or 60?

If you don't wanna see ghosting then don't stare at the head while turning rapidly ;) It's noticable in Assasins Creed as well, but I simply don't look at it while playing the game, my eyes don't focus on it.
