PS:
The update changed Elden Ring settings,
Borderless Window to Fullscreen and the resolution was way off.
After reverting these settings, it worked again.
Best settings for Elden Ring? I can post mine...
Scaling mode: Automatic and Aspect Ratio
No scaling mode.
Frame Generation: LSFG 2.1
Mode X2
Performance Off
Vsync On
Max Refreshrate
API DXGI
Set max FPS in Nvidia to 30 fps.
It's basically the same for every game, there's really not much you need to do, you cap your framerate to 37 (half your monitor refresh rate), set framegen to x2, and enjoy Elden Ring at 74fps. Just make sure that you select the right graphics quality settings for your card, so that it has enough spare GPU power to handle the frame generation.
Why 30 fps tho? I mean can i play at 60 fps or it's locked at 30, it's ugly af that way i guess :c
30 is only the base framerate in his example, with x2 framegen you would get 60fps.
It works, you don't need to wait :)
It won't :)
Yes. I personally use Afterburner/RTSS instead of NVCP, but that doesn't really matter, as long as the framecap works correctly.
If you don't wanna see ghosting then don't stare at the head while turning rapidly ;) It's noticable in Assasins Creed as well, but I simply don't look at it while playing the game, my eyes don't focus on it.
