Guys i forget to say, that if you dont want to do this troubleshoot that i gave you for the game fixes and extra cars... you can simple, from step 2º go to the step 6º to play the game, you dont need to do the other steps if you dont want to... just in the step 6º, link the steam game folder and run it.

Nice to have an updated method, especially for people like myself that have just bought the game in the sale.

I'm using the UP with a secondary install, leaving my Steam one intact, seems to work fine, only issue is that the clock doesn't run when in Online mode, so I switch between Online and Offline via the UL.

Might be nice to copy and paste this into a community guide, so its all updated and shiny.

EDIT: As a new install of Up into an unpacked install of TDU 2, which AutoPack download link do I click for the whole package? Thanks!

Hello, the guide i already putt on the guide session. For the autopack, yes you download the whole package, follow the line that it says "Download Archive downloader TDU2 AUtoPack ver.1.73 "Serenity Pack" (includes all 47 cars from ver.1.71)" on the http://forum.turboduck.net/threads/33173-tdu2-autopack-ver-173-serenity-pack-07092016-8-new-cars

hi to answer your question. im currently redownloading 8gigs as it says updating on steam. i followed the tut and deleted everyfile in the tdu2 folder and copy and pasted the unpacked files and took the launcher and renamed it to UpLauncher.exe and that is what happned.

and when you run it from steam, it says something? did you update the game before the unpack?

yes i did i let the installer run. just started to update thru steam, i followed the directions you posted for working with steam ui.

but it should give you some error or something, if you elaborate more, maybe i can find where is the problem to not run, and the only problem that i can see, that could happend... if you are in windows 10, is give you some securom error, in that case, you reinstall your system or change for windows 7, unless someone know how to solve that problem from securom...


Try again... install the game, update it, then run the tdu2 universal launcher, if is working, now you can star the unpack and the other steps.

Just, to be sure, after, you install and update, just use the universal launcher, dont put nothing in directory, or delete, or rename nothing...

i mean it was running just fine with out attempting to get the steam achivments from your tut. all i did was get the launcher from that site and it worked. i was just trying to get the steam achivements or the overlay for this game.

but, that is easy to do, you just have to delete every file from game directory, paste the unpacked directory, put the universal launcher there too, in the steam directory and rename the universal launcher to uplauncher, then use from steam... you dont have nothing more to do..., just try again.
And in this case, if you already run the unpacked version, was not needed to redownload the game again.

well download finished from steam. running launcher gotta redl 1 gigs again. idk what went wrong as i followed ur steps to a tee. if not im just going to deal with no steam achievements
