iVRy Driver for SteamVR

iVRy Driver for SteamVR

Beta 1.1.9.6 Feedback
The image quality is now very good, performance good.
There is still an issue with the haptic feedback (psvr2 controller). In the game "ghost town" there is weird very strong constant rumbling sometimes at the beginning. In ghost town there is also a flickering issue, not constant, but sometimes I can see my desktop for a short amount of time. I hadn't this issue with HL:A, so it is maybe related to openXR, since ghost town is native openXR game.
In HL:A there is also a slight jittering (frame buffer?).

When I close a game, the steam dashboard is closed too and I need to active it again from my pc. Is there a way to activate it from within vr (cannot find the button on the controller)?

RTX 5090, Vision Pro M5, dedicated router, native resolution, adaptive bitrate 60-200
testet HL:A (high settings), ghost town (high settings)

Thanks for the feedback!

The IQ and performance improvements are driver, not app related (although both count as the BETA in this instance). There is another driver update (1.1.9.7) that should improve the frame rate.

To open the SteamVR dashboard, use the "Create" (top left) button on the left Sense controller.

Are you able to set the frame rate to 120Hz on the M5? I don't have one to test with.

Could be interesting to have a few basic pre-set SteamVR controller bindings. Legacy bindings in particular where PSVR2 bindings have to be mapped to Quest 2 controllers for older games like SkyrimVR.

I made my own but not everyone is familiar with the issue, especially among VisionPro players since a fair proportion of the user base is new to PCVR.

That being said, maybe that’s something for the community to do.

The controllers are mapped to Quest 2 controllers by default. It's not my business to make controller bindings for Sense, as I'm sure there are many out there for PSVR2 users. When setting the controller type to Sense in the iVRy settings (and the PSVR2 driver is installed), then the iVRy driver will use the mappings and models from that driver. So, anything done for PSVR2 users will be directly applicable for iVRy AVP + Sense users.

Please test whether this is still an issue with the latest driver (1.1.9.9)

Controller mapping has been redone in 1.1.9.9 and later of the driver. I've sat down with the actual controllers of each of the controller types that are supported, and done extensive reverse-engineering of them. I've now updated the driver so that there is (almost) no way SteamVR or an app can tell whether the real controller is being used. This fixes mappings with many titles.
