iVRy Driver for SteamVR

iVRy Driver for SteamVR

AVP Beta Feedback
The app is very userfriendly, I like the steamVR integration, so I do not need another separate streamer to run on my pc. Setup is straight forward.

I have the following issues:

  • Instead of the psvr2 sense controller, the quest 3 controller are shown. There is an option to switch to the psvr2 controller, but after restarting the app, still the quest 3 controller are shown.
  • The controller are not very responsive in steam, which led me to the conclusion, that it is using hand tracking (maybe wrong conclusion)
  • As in the most current pcvr-streaming solutions for vision pro, the pause button does not work properly in most games (psvr2 controller)

It would be nice to also have an AV1 encoding option (m5).

- The app should prompt you to install the Sony PSVR2 driver for Windows if you select "Sense". If it doesn't please report, and work around the issue in the meantime by manually installing it. The Sony driver is needed for the controller models and mapping (which presumably couldn't be legally included in the iVRy driver). It doesn't need to be started or interacted with in any way once installed.
- Controller response may be reduced if saturating the network bandwidth with video. I don't know if that is the case for you, you could test this by seeing if the tested bandwidth is close to what the throughput bandwidth is. It would be helpful to know how much controllers lag compared to your hands when "upper limb visibility" is enabled.
- Some controller buttons are "grabbed" by VisionOS, and there's nothing an app can do to work around that.

I do not have an M5 or access to one for development, so M5-specific features may have to wait until if/when the app has enough uptake.
