Wired connection on Quest?

Does iVry support a wired connection on the Quest?
I tried with a USB cable and tested by disconnecting the cable which didn't interrupt the stream, which leads me to believe it's WiFi only, I also couldn't seem to establish the connection when I turned WiFi off on my Quest.

Is the Wired mode in the new driver only for GearVR/Go ?

Wired connection will be used if the device has USB Debugging enabled and the SteamVR driver is started with the device connected via a USB cable. If you disconnect the cable while SteamVR is running, it will switch to Wifi.

as mentioned with my WiFi off I was unable to connect it just remained at establishing connection even though I had it connected and USB Debugging enabled

I've got a Quest 2, just disconnected from WiFi and connected the USB cable and then launched, Latency wasn't the best but it did work
