iVRy Driver for SteamVR

PSVR running at 60HZ with flickering
Hey there!

I've been trying to set up PSVR with iVRy and it's all gone smooth except for a noticeable flicker on white areas. Dev said on another discussion that it could be due to the HMD running at 60hz and dxdiag/AMD control panel seem to back up this info. Can't change the refresh rate in AMD control panel either, it just springs incompatibility errors. Logs and stuff:

VRSERVER https://file.io/yIPMmF
VRCOMPOSITOR https://file.io/niGfwt
DXDIAG https://file.io/cSFGMq
AMD ERROR https://ibb.co/02pW8R9
AMD CONFIG https://ibb.co/DggDYbR (this is what prompts error)

Thanks in advance! Can't wait to enjoy the buttery smoothness :)

You do need to follow instructions and send the information via email, as requested. Turn the PSVR off and on again, and check Windows Device Manager->Monitors and verify the PSVR monitor is listed there as "PSVR v1" or "PSVR v2".

OK will send via email. Windows lists it as PSVR v1

why dont you make a instructions video and put it up on the PSVR DLC page. I am at the point of asking for my money back. if i can not make this work.

From the email the dev send me, try setting steam vr to "direct VR mode" in the steam settings, and see if that helps!

The instructions being referred to are the instructions for requesting support. It's not possible to help anyone with a problem of "doesn't work". The 0.5% (or less, literally) of users that have problems usually have specific problems related to their system. That is why it is futile to try to provide support without diagnostic information. The purpose of the "lite"/demo version is to allow users to test whether the software works for them *before* making purchase decisions.

If you would like support, please provide *all* of the information requested:

Did you manage to resolve your issue?

I'm unsure yet as i've had numerous conflicts with a whole host of controller and tracking software on my pc which causes steam vr to crash, so i have to diagnose those issues before i can report if changing to direct vr fixes the issues, but hopefully i'll get there eventually!

I've got it running at 60Hz if it was set to use VR-Direct.

Same problem, SteamVR beta 1.9.5, Direct-VR mode and 60Hz only (no prob with 90/120Hz in extended mode). I tried to change SteamVR config (also removing), used CRU to delete all modes but 90/120Hz from HMD, and still 60Hz only. No idea.
One question, when mode is Direct-VR (and installed drivers) Windows (in screen settings) and Radeon app not shows second monitor (HMD) at all. Is this correct? In extended mode PSVR is detected as second screen by Windows/Radeon app.

There appear to be some issues with recent AMD drivers. I will run some tests and update the driver or detail a workaround in the next week.

There is something weird with ... AMD drivers? When extended mode shows 90 or 120Hz (iVRy and SteamVR) but Windows screen settings and Radeon app shows 60Hz. Changing driver with CRU gives nothing (removing 60Hz gives still 60Hz). More, I tried to add non-standard resolution to Radeon app (with 90Hz, params like CRU shows for PSVR v2 monitor), but Radeon app denied this (device not supported).

OK, I found it. There is problem when EDID has max TMDS clock set to 150MHz for HDMI (default iVRy). When I changed to 300MHz (by CRU) then in extended mode Windows/Radeon follows refresh rate of iVRy/SteamVR.
For direct-VR mode, SteamVR jump to 76Hz after TMDS change. Screen is blank. I think there is more with EDID to change.

CRU -> Standard resolutions, after removing all but 1920x1080, SteamVR goes to 120Hz for direct-VR mode (with TMDS set to 300MHz). For both 90 and 120Hz set in iVRy, that is weird.
