Millium and Altina background? (Probably spoiler, early Chapter 1).

Was it ever mentioned that they are artificial living things / Homunculi? Their conversation in Einhel - Level 1 at chapter 1 seems to indicate that they both already know about it (And being casual about it while it seems a crucial information), but I don't remember it being discussed in Cold Steel 1 or 2. It feels strange when you just finished previous Cold Steel before and they throw in new facts assuming we already know previously.

IIRC those words weren't said in cs1 and 2 but Millium heavily implied what she really is from her lines about Black Workshop/Ironbloods, about how she will never physically grow, not knowing how to cry and when they talk about her connection with Altina

I believe that if Millium is chosen for strongest bond in CS II, she does mention it, either there, or in the epilogue. But otherwise, yeah, it's only indirectly hinted at before CS III. That's not even the most egregious thing CS III assumes the player knows.

Just watched the epilogue for Millium, yeah it kinda mentioned there but it use heavy exposition as "When I'm in Crossbell" and "Lechter did mention" without having actual scene on it. not really a good way for important plot though but at least there is a connecting dots.

I'm aware with the hints, but doesn't really gave justice with the sudden conclusion (all those hints were also still a mystery in Rean PoV in CS-II). I've watched Millium Epilogue and it's kinda mentioned there. Not the best answer I would hope, but at least there is a connecting dots even though it's an exposition.
