In fact, they never should have released either CS3 or CS4 with crappy lossy audio in the first place. XSEED didn't do that with CS1 or CS 2. No good reason why NISA should be cutting corners in these regards.
Since I know more people are looking for this too, I will let you know guys know when I'm done. It takes a bit of time to do because it's all gotta be done via terminal shell
Sounds promising mah dude, looking forward to it.

This file has Rean's battle theme and the victory bgm from Hajimari no Kiseki because I loved them both so much when I played that game... and I forgot to change it first. I can do the originals later if needed.
I had time to check most of the files to make sure I didn't make any errors with typing the loop points, but if you find any please let me know.
Hopefully the lossy voices aren't a major source of irritation, cuz with the music that is 5 times higher bitrate, it really accentuates just how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ their compression made it.
I'll include your link in the original post. Thanks much for all the effort for this.
One thing alonesov, your 7z file isn't unzippable through normal 7zip. Is that intended? It mentions unsupported compression method: opus. Did you use some other zipping program to zip the files or your files in the GDrive may be corrupted.
Sorry, I was afraid of that when my cat stepped on the keyboard and deleted it! The new Google Drive for Desktop made it sound like it was restored okay lol... I can do again.

I'm quite the snob as well. Can't wait to play with it.
lol. I've got Nocturne on my wishlist for now. Played a bit of it back on PS2. It (SMT in general) has a killer OST. Promised I wouldn't play too many things at once, as I often get lost/bored or drop one. So I'm trying to keep it at one RPG at a time.
Cringeworthy..... I use to think there was no difference until i went from some cheap logitech 5.1 setup. Where each speaker was probably like 5-10 buxs.....
Now I've got floorstands/sub & receiver that are in the thousands lol. Add in the jump from low bit rate to lossless. I found myself loving tracks that I didn't quite like or use to think were overrated. Some tracks I love even more after hearing things I never did. It was another world.
Thanks for your hard work on this mod. I've noticed that the loop point of the title screen track is slightly off. There are about 4-5 seconds of silence at the end of the track. It's not a big deal, though. I only noticed it because I left the game running while I'm doing something else anyway.
Other than that, I haven't noticed any similar bug, although I'm still early in the game (start of Chapter 2).
