Unfortunately, you can't load clear data from Cold Steel 2 into Cold Steel 3. Cold Steel 3 doesn't recognize anything you did in the previous games. Stupid, but it is what it is.

Probably because CS2 was from vita/ps3 while CS3 was ps4

No version of CS3 ever used saved data from CS2.

CS1 and 2 were on different engines and platforms whereas CS3 and 4 are on different engines and platforms too. Your story save wouldn't matter in CS3 since quartz are different, so are certain gameplay elements. And all the relationships you built over the course of 1 and 2 start fresh in CS3 and 4. So your past event unlocks, except for a few plot heavy ones don't really matter in CS3 and 4.

They could've done it by asking the player a few questions at the beginning. Too lazy I guess.

Because threads aren't restricted to only opinions we agree with, that's what a subreddit is. Here it's Steam forums. We're entitled to our opinions as much as you are entitled to yours. Troll.

I will say it again: Carry overs add nothing of value, it's a meme gimmick or whatever. Last time carry over amounted to anything was Trails in the Sky SC and that's if you were to play on Nightmare since there are spells you have to have access to during the prologue if you want to clear it.

First of all you are the one that came here with the attitude that I or anyone else for that matter should not care for clear data. Clearly I do and I would like to imagine some of the other poster here do as well. You need to look up the definition of what a troll is.

Again I don't care whether or not you like clear data. That was never the question to begin with. So I'll ask again. WTF is it to you that I care about clear data? Why do you care so much that you have to tell me that I shouldn't care about clear data? Why?

I for one care about clear data especially perfect save such as max lv , etc. and sometime I care about save that contain romantic relationship with particular girl (long blue hair one in this case) too. I just said what I love don't come to argue with anyone.
